Warehouse Clerk


SUMMARY:

This position is primarily responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments by performing the following duties.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
  • Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
  • Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
  • Marks materials with identifying information.
  • Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
  • Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
  • Uses computer to enter records.
  • Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
  • Drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.
  • Completes requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments.
  • Prepares parcels for mailing.
  • Maintains inventory records.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:                   

    2 years of college; or up to two years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    COMPENSATION:

    Compensation up to $12.00 an hour based on experience.

     




    Sales Executive

    Tampa, FL; Buffalo, NY; Minnetonka, MN; and Colorado Springs, CO.


    SUMMARY:

    This position is primarily responsible for selling telecom and network hardware to businesses and industrial establishments or individuals by performing the following duties.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from ad inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, card deck leads, aged leads, bingos, dealer resellers, business directories, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
  • Makes outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services.
  • Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales.
  • Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers.
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
  • Builds and maintains customer relationships.
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into company CRM system.
  • -Travels to and attends trade shows.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:                   

    Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of the telecom and network hardware business is a plus.

     

     



    Jr. Graphic Designer

    Tampa, FL.


    SUMMARY:

    The Junior Graphic Designer is responsible for assisting the Marketing Team with projects. This position will be a part of the ongoing management and growth MES’ social media and website presence in alignment with business strategies and direction.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Core duties and responsibilities include assisting the marketing team with projects. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Knowledge of Photoshop (understanding cropping, saving images for web, actions, naming files and being very organized)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
  • Knowledge of typography
  • Knowledge with blogging and how it interfaces, such as embedding HTML, creating hot links, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of a simple photography studio, setting up lights and handling an SLR Camera
  • Website creation experience
  • Creative witting skills

    Ideal candidate must be:
  • Student or new graduate.
  • Based in Tampa, Florida.
  • Have interest in the IT Industry.

    Test Technician

    Tampa, FL.


    SUMMARY:

    SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for testing data network equipment by performing the following duties.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Collaborates with Sr. Test Technicians to assure that testing requirements have met all documented procedures.
  • Documents all testing procedures.
  • Performs appropriate test procedures for data network hardware products.
  • Finds, separates, and documents hardware product defects.
  • Maintains defect database.
  • Communicates defects and verifies solutions with the Testing Team.
  • Completes testing in a timely manner.

     

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:                   

    Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
